EAST-FRISIAN-PLUM-ICED-TEA

Black tea has been an important part of the East Frisian culture for decades. People from East Frisia drink the most tea worldwide. Enjoy the classic Ostfriesen Gold Black Tea by TEEKANNE in a completely different way – not hot, but cold! Brewed black tea, plums and mint redefine iced tea.

INGREDIENTS

For 1 L:

4 tablespoons Ostfriesen Gold Black Tea by TEEKANNE
2 plums
8 mint leaves
2 teaspoons agave syrup
1 L hot water

PREPARATION

Bring the water to boil. Put 4 tablespoons of Ostfriesen Gold Black tea in the TEEKANNE tea filter. Fill the boiling water in the SUND glass carafe and put the tea filter in it. Let it sit for 4 minutes and remove the tea filter afterwards. Sweeten the tea with 2 tablespoons of agave syrup. Cut the plum into slices and stick it together with the mint on the fruit skewer. Put the fruit skewer into the SUND glass carafe und let it rest in the refrigerator overnight. To enjoy this iced tea on the go, fill it in the BODDELS EEN drinking bottle.
